Everyone is Invited to the LBA Parent Meeting on Monday Night @ 7:00pm

Join us for the February LBA Parent Meeting in the Lafayette Cafeteria.  It is the easiest way to be involved in your child’s band experience. Meet parents of your child’s peers and find out what is going on now and what lies ahead for the Lafayette Band. LBA Parent meetings are open to current band families as well as all families with incoming freshmen this fall.  Discover how you can use your time and talents to get involved. For questions contact Brenda Boggs at bsbboggs@yahoo.com.

Bingo Help Needed this Week

We are expecting a larger than usual crowd for BINGO this week and additional pull tab sellers are needed.  Please come and help the band for a couple of hours, especially between 6pm and 8pm.  We are likely to stay busy until 9pm on both Tuesday and Thursday.

No experience necessary.  Join us at the Bluegrass Bingo Center as we raise money for the band.

Wish List – Items to Donate

Here are some items needed for the band room: Pencils, Tissues, Paper Towels, and Clorox Wipes.  Donations are appreciated – Thank you!

Jazz Band Dance and Silent Auction

The Lafayette Jazz Band Dance and Silent Auction, “Vive la France!”, is on February 19, 2016 at Wellington Elementary.  This is a fun event for students and families to dress-up and dance to the music of the two Jazz Bands.  Silent Auction items are always needed and appreciated.  Contact Carole Howell for more information.  Families will be contacted soon to provide finger foods and snacks.
