Help Needed for Science Fair Setup and Teardown

Come join us!

The LBA earns money from Kentucky American Water Company for setting-up and tearing down tables and chairs for the Science Fair.  The event will be at Frederick Douglass High School this year.  We will be setting-up on Friday, January 31st from 4:30pm to 9:00pm and tearing-down on Saturday from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.

Sign-Up:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c084cafa62ea13-kentucky

This is a fundraiser to benefit the band, and the more people we have helping the better.  Come join us for one or both days.  For questions, please contact Tim Walden at lbatreas@gmail.com.

Items for Donation Needed for Band Bash Silent Auction

We are looking for items for our silent auction which will be held on March 6th.  Please contact lbafundraising1@gmail.com if you have items you wish to donate and we will arrange for item pick up.  Here is the link to our Donation Request Flyer.

Band Bash 2020!

What:  A night of jazz meant for parents and students to enjoy!  There will be a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and we will be drawing for our raffle.

When:  Friday, March 6th, 2020

Where:  Calvary Baptist Church

Why:  You haven’t seen your fellow band parents for months and you have missed them!  Your parents/neighbors/best friends love jazz, and this is the perfect opportunity to share the band with them.  You want to get an early start on Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Birthday/Christmas shopping, and you know that you will find awesome auction items that will also go toward supporting the band.  You will be there for the raffle drawing (which is good luck)!

Return of the Raffle

After taking a year off, we are bringing back one of our best fundraisers–The Lafayette Band Raffle! This year, the prize is $3,000 Cash!!

Raffle tickets are $10 each. Each band and color guard member is asked to sell 15 raffle tickets. Tickets will be distributed soon during band class/guard rehearsal. The drawing will be held on Friday, March 6th at the Band Bash held at Calvary Baptist Church.

Keep an eye on your e-News for more information!!

Let’s finish this historic band year with the biggest and most profitable raffle in Lafayette Band history!

Winter Guard

The students have been working very hard to put our winter shows on the floor. We are excited to offer a full competitive season for our JV winter guard this season. We hope that you can come out and support our Winter Guards!

For more detailed show information, you can go to www.tristatemarchingarts.org. Also, you can see a snapshot from our winter guard show last year on the front page of the TMA website!
