KMEA Class 5A State Finals DVD

We are making a one-time group order for KMEA Class 5A State Finals DVD.

Full retail price per DVD is $45 but for orders of 50 or more the price is $23 which includes shipping and sales tax.  If you are interested in participating then mail the linked form with a $23 check by Friday, November 17.

Only paid in full orders will be included in the group order.

Please note that per Box 5 DVDs will ship 6-8 weeks after the event and it takes 7-10 days for receipt of the DVDs once they are shipped.

“Breakfast of Champions” Success


The PANCAKE BREAKFAST at Applebee’s was a huge success! Over 150 people attended with $1,006 in profit! Thanks to the band kids who hosted, served, and cleaned. Special thanks to the adults who volunteered to make this event possible. Applebee’s said it was the biggest fundraiser they have ever had at that location! GO LAFAYETTE BAND!


Band Store Open Monday, November 13th


The Band Store will be open on Monday, November 13th at 6:30 in the cafeteria (prior to the LBA Parent Meeting).

Family Payments


All Family Payments should now be paid in-full.

With Marching Band underway it is imperative that each family uphold their responsibility and make sure their Charms account is paid so that all students may enjoy the benefits of our first-class band.

To make a payment via PayPal log into Charms at www.charmsoffice.com.  Our school code is “lhsband”. 

Band payments may also be paid by check made payable to “LBA” (please note the student’s name) and mailed to:

     Lexington, KY 40591-0396

If your student qualifies for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program please supply a copy of the Notice of Approval received from the Child Nutrition Office so that we may update your Charms account accordingly.  LBA must receive this notification each year.

“REMIND” System to Communicate Information


The Lafayette Band uses the “Remind” system to communicate important information to students and families.  The students have been encouraged to join the appropriate “remind” groups to receive updates, schedule changes, and reminders from the band directors.  Families are welcome to join.
