Bingo Update! – We’re going strong this summer with Bingo, raising money to help keep costs down for families. If you are new to the LBA, or just new to Bingo, we want to invite you to join us! It’s actually a lot of fun, the work is easy, and it’s by far the biggest source of money (outside of direct contributions from families) that we raise to pay for buses, uniforms, food, instrument repair, staff, and much more. To ensure this critical fund-raising effort succeeds EVERY LBA family is expected to work at least SIX SHIFTS PER YEAR as a Bingo volunteer. Get your shifts in this summer before schedules get (even more!) hectic! Every week we need PULL-TAB sellers—this week our pull-tab sales will be led by the CHAPERONE CREW… but you can show your love for them by volunteering to help out, even if you’re not a chaperone! Pull-tab sales is something parents and students can do—can you sell 2000 pull-tabs in a shift? NEW! NEW! Check out our NEW bingo webpage – http://www.lafayetteband.org/bingo/. Flag Fundraiser |

American Flags are Flying! Our Memorial Day installation is complete! New subscriptions are still available! Please continue to share with neighbors and friends. www.honorwithflags.com/lafayetteband The American Flag Fundraiser has the potential to be a significant source of fundraising for the band. The program, Honor With Flags, has had huge success in other states and Lafayette Band is the first organization in Kentucky to participate. The program involves asking supporters to buy an annual subscription for placement of American Flags. The Band will then place 3’ x 5’ flags on 10’ poles outside the homes of Lexington subscribers for 5 major holidays (Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Veteran’s Day).
